The place for live entertainment, great company and delicious desserts.

Owned By the Community

Vox Pop is proud to say that we now have 211 owners. That's 211 members of this community, your friends, your neighbors. This is not your traditional small business. This small business is actually owned by this community. You are not just supporting a small, local business. You are supporting a space owned by your community. A space we hope everyone utilizes. Input is always encouraged and appreciated and I thank everyone, on behalf of us all, for your continued support.

Please do come check out our new outdoor cafe space as well. Thanks to the following shareholders we have new tables and chairs and a special thank you to John Webber and Brandon Sanders for building our beautiful new bench.

Tables and chairs donated by: Richard Levitt, Michael and Kathleen Stringer, Jessi Miano, Chris Garay

Donations are still be accepted on our website and do ask Debi Ryan if you are interested in learning how you can become part of this great community space.

Thanks to you all we will continue to serve this community bringing music and art and books and spoken word and fair trade coffees and teas and great food and a sense of belonging. This community continues to be an inspiration for me and exemplifies what we can do when we all work together.

About Vox Pop

"This quintessentially Brooklyn café is one of those rare places where lefty politics, music, books, food, wifi, local art, and community come together. On any given night, you might find a political speaker, a hipster band, an open mic night, a storyteller, a comedy show, a jazz jam, a new-music act...VoxPop: keepin' it real in Brooklyn!"

WNYC's Soundcheck

"Part bookstore, coffee bar, performance space, instant publishing center, community center, Vox Pop is sort of a live blog, with tons of atmosphere and cultural vitality."
